Almyrida

Αλμυρίδα
The quiet bay with the best tavernas in Apokoronas

Almyrida is a small village on a sheltered sandy bay 35 kilometres east of Chania. The bay faces north-west and a headland shelters it, one of the calmer swimming spots on the north coast. The village has a handful of excellent tavernas on the waterfront and a local character that larger resorts have lost.
